As we kick off the third quarter of the year, I wanted to take a moment to connect and share some insights about the current East Tennessee real estate scene. I also want to discuss how I can support you and your clients through the mortgage process.

You already know the East Tennessee Market is a growing and competitive landscape. It continues to be a vibrant and dynamic area for homebuyers. With cities like Knoxville and other surrounding communities, the region is experiencing steady growth, and demand for housing remains high. The job market is strong thanks to a diverse economy that includes manufacturing, healthcare, education, and technology. That alone brings families to our region.

As I watch and analyze the real estate market I’m still seeing a healthy, yet competitive market. Yes, inventory is still limited, especially for desirable properties in family-friendly neighborhoods with great schools.

Interest rates have edged up, but they remain attractive by historical standards. By this I mean it’s important for buyers to take action now, rather than waiting. I know buyers are still eager to find the perfect home. And to do that, they need knowledgeable support and education to navigate a complex mortgage process.

That’s where I come in. Helping homebuyers find the right loan is about more than just securing a low rate – it’s about understanding their unique financial situations, goals, and needs so they can secure the best mortgage possible.

Here are some of the ways I can help:

Guidance from the Beginning: I start by educating your clients about the different mortgage options available, and what to expect during the entire process. For first time buyers or buyers with complicated credit histories, this information can ease a lot of stress.

Pre-Approval Support: I help buyers get pre-approved quickly and confidently, so they know exactly what they can afford. This not only strengthens their position in negotiations but also shortens the closing timeline.

Funding the Home of Their Dreams: Once they find the right property, I walk with them through the entire mortgage process—processing the application, gathering necessary documents, and coordinating with underwriters. My goal is to ensure a smooth and timely closing.
